Getting Started

Six steps to your first inscribed collection.

0 of 6 complete

  1. 1

    Name your collection

Set the name, supply, and output format (AVIF / WebP / PNG).

  2. 2

    Add categories and layers

    Open Traits

Create categories (Background, Body, etc.) or drop a folder of folders. Each sub-folder becomes a category, each image inside becomes a layer.

  3. 3

    Set rarities and rules

    Set rules

Tune the rarity % per layer, then switch to the Rules tab in the sidebar to mark layers that should never appear together.

  4. 4

    Preview and save favorites

    Open Preview

Reroll preview samples and click Save on any tile you want in your final batch — works in list, 3-wide, and 6-wide views.

  5. 5

    Generate the full collection

    Open Generate

Pick a generation mode and (optionally) a trait count distribution like 500 NFTs with 3 traits, 3000 with 4. Hit Generate.

  6. 6

    Bundle for inscribe.dev

    Open Inscribe

Switch the source to your saved pool, then download the inscribe.dev bundle — drop it into their Batch Inscriber to mass-inscribe.

Collection
Name, description, and dimensions.
Generation
Supply size and seed for deterministic output.
Output
Format and quality settings for final images.

Include PNG versions alongside the primary format

When enabled and format is WebP, GIF/WebP layers drive multi-frame output. Static layers repeat every frame.

Metadata Template
Optional fields applied to every generated edition. Use {name}, {edition}, and {collection} as placeholders.

No custom fields. Add ones like artist, license, chain— they'll appear in metadata JSON and inscribe.dev traits.

Project File
Save or restore your project configuration.

Config only
